Kill ‘Em With Kindness by Johnny Cupcakes
I don’t often feature Johnny Cupcakes here at Indie Threads. The reason is because it’s a brand that everyone knows about, so I don’t really feel like I’m informing anyone of anything. However, once I saw this design, I had to change that. I don’t really care if you’ve seen it already – this is a design worth a second look.
The vintage poster style just has something about it that draws my eye in. I love the old style typography especially the word “with” being in the diamond shape forcing the word “kindness” to change it’s shape. Man, I just really really like it.
This vintage type style is something Johnny Cupcakes pulls off regularly, too (have you seen his Logo?). It’s also become even more apparent on his new site design ( check it out if you haven’t seen it yet – http://johnnycupcakes.com). It’s chock full of tasty detail.
